Hizvo Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, storage and disclosure of your information when you use Hizvo, the intelligent dynamic photo animation tool designed to turn your static photo collections into beat-synced, personalized visual works without professional editing skills.

We only process the minimum data required to deliver the creative features you expect from Hizvo, and are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information and creative content. By accessing, downloading or using Hizvo, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to operate and improve your Hizvo experience, which falls into the following categories:

User Provided Creative Content: This includes the photo collections you upload, audio tracks you select, and custom effect settings (pulse, wave, rotation, zoom, flicker, etc.) you choose for your projects. We only collect this content to process your specific creation requests.
Automatic Usage Data: We collect non-identifiable usage information including device type, operating system version, Hizvo app version, feature usage patterns (such as preferred effect types, export resolution settings, and sharing platform choices), and error reports to help us optimize app performance and fix bugs.
Optional Account Information: If you choose to register for a Hizvo account to access cloud backup and cross-device sync features, we will collect the contact information (such as email address) or social profile information you provide during registration.

3. How We Use Your Information

Process your creation requests: Run our intelligent beat-alignment algorithm on your uploaded photos and audio to generate your desired rhythm-driven visual sequence, and apply your selected custom effects.
Improve Hizvo features: Optimize our algorithm accuracy, develop new dynamic effect options, and enhance app performance based on anonymized usage data.
Personalize your experience: Recommend relevant audio tracks, effect templates and creation tips based on your usage preferences, if you opt in to personalized recommendations.
Provide customer support: Respond to your feedback, troubleshooting requests, and account-related inquiries.
Send necessary notifications: Deliver product update alerts, new feature announcements, and important policy notices, only if you have opted in to receive communications from us.

4. Data Storage & Retention

All raw creative content you upload (photos, audio files) is temporarily stored on our encrypted servers only for the duration of your creation process. These files are automatically and permanently deleted 7 days after you complete or abandon your creation project, unless you actively choose to save them to your optional cloud backup space.

Finished dynamic videos are by default saved only to your local device album. We do not store copies of your exported works unless you explicitly opt in to cloud backup functionality.

Anonymous usage log data is retained for 12 months, after which it is fully anonymized and aggregated for product improvement purposes only. If you delete your account, all personal data and creative content associated with your account will be permanently erased from our servers within 30 days of your deletion request.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information or creative content to any third parties for commercial purposes. We only share data in the following limited scenarios:

When you actively choose to share your finished works to third-party social platforms, we will only transmit the video file and the sharing parameters you explicitly authorize to the corresponding platform. All data shared to third-party platforms will be subject to that platform's own privacy policy.
With our trusted service providers who help us operate Hizvo (including cloud storage providers and technical support vendors), who are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and are only permitted to process data as necessary to deliver services to us.
When required by applicable mandatory regulatory requirements, we will disclose data only to the extent necessary to meet legal obligations.

6. Your Data Rights

You retain full control over your data, and can exercise the following rights at any time via your Hizvo app settings or by contacting our support team:

Access all personal data we hold related to your account, including a full list of content you have saved to our cloud servers.
Request permanent deletion of any of your data stored on our servers, including uploaded content, backup works and account information, with deletion completed within 15 working days of your request.
Opt out of collection of non-essential usage data and personalized recommendations at any time via the app privacy settings.
Export a copy of all your personal data and creative content stored with us in a common, machine-readable format.
Terminate your Hizvo account at any time, upon which all data associated with your account will be permanently erased.

7. Children's Privacy

Hizvo is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a user under 13, we will immediately delete all related information from our servers.

8. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse or alteration, including:

End-to-end encryption for all data transmission between your device and our servers
Role-based access control for all server-stored data, with limited access only to authorized technical personnel
Regular security audits and vulnerability testing of our systems
Automatic encryption of all cloud-stored creative content

While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no internet-based service can guarantee 100% security. You use Hizvo at your own risk.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to our features, operational practices or applicable regulatory requirements. We will notify you of any material changes via in-app notification at least 15 days before the updated policy takes effect. Your continued use of Hizvo after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
